Last book I read

Last books I read: "Red Queen", "Black wolf" and "White King" trilogy by Juan Gómez-Jurado.

I was on the ship returning to Athens from Creta. I was quite bored, so I went to the ship's (overpriced) mini-market to see if they have anything interesting. So I bought this book called "White King".

After a few pages, I realised I didn't understand shit. I had no idea what was going on. Unknown people referenced, incomprehensible situations happening. I kept on reading. Maybe the confusion is a writing tactic and, later on, everything would become clear. By the moment I felt tired and ready to sleep, I had read more than half of the book and still had no clue what was it about.

Back to Athens, I looked the book up. And I realised I was trying to read the third book of a trilogy.

So I went and bought the first two books, "Red Queen" and "Black wolf" to read them in order. It's not the usual style of literature I like to read, but it was fine.

(you thought I'd be writting a review on the trilogy and instead you got hit with my "I was bored on the ship" story?)
